Nahhh, Lee.  That weren't Porky on the grill.   Porky sent in a ringer to handle that chore, then snuck in the gate dressed up like a bear. ::)

There was no "Bear Suit", nor was there a "porky the pig".  We had the official USFS Smokey the Bear attend the Pig Roast as an honored guest.

Don´t you guys have a job ?¿

Sure I do. I just got finished with all the paper work that I can do for now. It's 10:00pm here right now. I started at 4:30am. Just got time inbetween corraling these looneys, answering emails and the phone all day, safety meetings with three different crews, listening to assanign reasons why I should let themoff the rig early, and all the other fun stuff that goes on around here at the circus to check the forum now and again. Gotta release somehow. Time to go take a shower and hit the sack so I can get up at 4:15 and start all over again.

When they ask to leave the rig, do you ask them if they can swim?  :)

We're sitting dockside right now. That adds whole other demention to the lunacy I get to deal with. We had our weekly fire and abandon drill last weekend. Normally we're on our own for fire fighting, but here in the shipyard we have to use the yard's services. If I thought having to depend on our guys was iffy, they look like real pros compared to the dock fire team. They backed the truck up to the plug, hooked up a hose after wrastling with it for 10 minutes and promptly put the truck in gear, drove off and busted the hose and pulled up the plug. It would be comical if it wasn't so painfull to watch. To top all that off, later on in the day they sent me a letter to sign. Of course I can't read it, my arabic just ain't there. So I scan it and send it off to the office for a translation. Turns out that they are wanting me to thank them for providing a profesional and well trained fire team to assist with our drills. I didn't sign it. Probably my bad, I gotta get a pass to get out of the port gates when it's time for me to go home. These folks bear grudges for generations.

:o :o ::)  Guess you could call that the CF of BF, eh? :D :D

Sounds like y'all oughta try to keep from catching on fire while you're there.

If we do, i'm just gonna go down the gang way and watch her burn. I just hope I can get my passport on the way out. I can't imagine what fun I would have trying to get out of here with out it.
