Title: Tree shear comparisons
Post by: chubby on April 06, 2019, 11:01:53 PM
Someone had asked for comparison pics of the BC18 (7) tree shear and the BC25 (10) tree shear for excavators. The BC18 is ideal for excavators upto 6t and the BC25 for 5t and larger.
The BC18 uses 1 cylinder, the BC25 uses 2 cylinders to power through tough wood!

that thing is pretty kool,,  didnt know much about them,,,  i wonder how it works with oak and other hardwoods here in mich,,    and if you were to take some 16 inch white pine with the bigger one , would it cut part way and break off the rest with the power of the excavator ,

Interesting choice in harvest location for a promotional video....
