Flags at half mast around here. That is sad to see. :(
I vividly remember everything I was doing that day.
More importantly, I remember watching all the heroics at the site from my TV.
I vividly remember everything I was doing that day.
Walking to the parts house (Grainger) standing in line at the counter. What are the odds some employee brought in thier own tv for background noise ? And me staring in unbelief. Never Forget!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lazerdan
I was at work, when all that went on. Did not get home until 7:30 that night, whixh is the normal time. The sights still bother me now. One of my co workers was heading towards Northern Maine when all that went on. He wondered if this was the end.
Our shop shut down, (paid) it was a day to never be forgotten. Stars and Stripes forever in our book out here, david
I was doing 2 on 1 off doing set-ups and babysitting the CNC's out in Sacramento and had to wait until the following evening when I got home to see a thing. Devastating and a general sadness.

I was at work on a military base, Aberdeen Proving Ground, so we were put on alert for possible attack.
9-11-17 is going to be a dozy for us.
I was on my way to work, heard it on the truck radio. I thought how in heck could they hit that building in broad daylight. Got to work then the second one. It was a strange day, all the staff and customers were stunned.
