Title: Olecranon Bursitris (popyes elbow)
Post by: luvmexfood on October 02, 2016, 09:39:42 PM
Anyone ever had any experience with this? Banged my elbow slightly while carry a load on Sept. 7. Been out on the road doing some work for a company. After about a week it began hurting enough to wake me up. Few days later big knot on elbow and forearm swelled. Took another week for workers comp to approve a Dr. visit.

Antibiotics, sling and came home from PA. Another week waiting for w/c to approve a follow-up visit. Shot of steroids and steroid pack. Forearm has gone down and not really much pain but the knot on the elbow won't go down. Waiting on W/C to approve a MRI. No work for two weeks and need to either get back out on the road for this company or hit the woods and log some.

I've had it. Mine wasn't infected so I didn't need antibiotics (and didn't have the pain). It wasn't really a problem, just slightly annoying. I didn't bother with any treatments and it went away on its own -- after about 6 months.
