Hi folks, new guy here. I am new to skiders and new to this forum, I need to buy a main-line what size should I get ? I am looking at 100 ft, what size diamiter should I be getting. Any help in all things skider would be be much appreciated.

Just bought a 5/8" swedged cable 75' long for $200 bucks.
100' cable was going to be $335 with shipping.

3/4 or 5/8, your choice. i prefer 3/4

I run 9/16 lighter and just as good unless your pulling the empire state building

Get the biggest cable you will be comfortable lugging around all day.
100' of cable is going to get heavy fast. :D

I'm using 1/2" because it was free, but it does just fine for me, i'd rather break that than pretty well anything else, but i'm just playing around.
