Is there a site or sites out there on the net which feature(s) sample or actual built sketchup files of timber frame and post & beam homes that can be downloaded either for free or at low cost for my practice (w Sketchup) & research, and perhaps as a launching platform for our own build ideas? I know there are a few on this site, but I am hoping to find more variety.
Possibly there are some files out there that can be converted, which I believe gets to the issue of sketchup make versus sketchup Pro. If I understand correctly, only sketchup Pro can interpret DWG and such files.
Thanks FF!
Well, I guess I'll can now answer my own question.
Trimble's Sketchup 3D warehouse. Positivity loaded with stuff. Searching & sorting the good from the bad is a challenge, but that's the way it is on the Internet.
