Boundary line maintenance tools?
« on: March 31, 2019, 03:43:16 PM »
Hello guys.  I知 getting ready to start doing some boundary line work for the spring until thinning starts again.  I was wondering what you folks preferred for tools while working boundary line to brush and blaze?

Thanks

Yes, a paint gun and paint. Nelson paint gun preferred. Maybe some boundary and corner signs also.

A good draw knife works well down here in the piney woods.

I use a log wizard  on short modified bar, It makes  blazing hemlock and pine as well as other trees quick and easy. Put a small blade and chain on your saw going in and switch to the logwizard bar assembly on your way out. backpack with gas oil scrench and lunch, makes fairly pleasant work of km's of line.  wait till drier weather and end of sap season before painting.   good walking exercise. watch the pounds melt away
