Tough going this winter.
« on: March 31, 2019, 04:48:57 PM »
Crazy depth of snow this winter, I've been helping a neighbor with his fire wood over the last couple months, step off the trail and you were looking at waist level. But even though we woke up to 10 plus inches this am, spring is here, we hope. I've been making trails , on some steep ground with my J5, my buddy's Ram Skidder doesn't like those inclines , not bad with a hitch on, but sketchy. 50 plus years old ,it's nice these machines can still earn their keep.

That's some crazy snow. It was a tough winter for sure. We had some wicked cold for a few weeks!

We to have had a real winter . Lots of snow and cold which is good for us and how we log.

I am really interested in your system . I have long wanted to have one of those J5 and try them in our woods .

I have some questions

Are they gas or diesel?

What age machines are they. .?

I would love to try and visit you some time and talk a little shop

Are you still logging at this of year?
