looking for a small amount of pretty hardwood.
« on: January 07, 2006, 10:49:37 PM »
I looking for approx 30 bf of rough sawn kiln dried or good and dry hardwood for a few little boxes I want to make. I'd like the boards 6"-10" wide 5/4 or 4/4 thick by however long (best shipping rate length).

I don't really have a wood preference, just looking for something that would look nice and something I could get a little experience working with.

Thanks everyone.

Let me take a look and see what is in the shop.  I ship all the time so that is no problem.  I'll get back to you this evening

I'm fifty miles from Nashville and keep a dry kiln running. Let me know your preference and I'll throw it in the Kiln.

I'm five miles outside of Woodbury, TN. I have been bought clean of on hand but I and putting Curry Cherry in the kiln ($6.00 per foot) and will be doing the same with hard maple and Oak. I am hampered with a small kiln but I will have a 4K one this summer. Rates on green normally go from $1 TO $2.00.
