remington manual and automatic oilers
« on: July 04, 2010, 11:51:52 AM »
wanted to see if anyone knows on the manual only remys, is the only check valve used in the line, from the pump to the outlet?. i have a pl55/wards, looks like it was never used, manual only, but still seams to burn alot of oil, any way bar oil can get into the crankcase on these?. any info would be great. also wanted to pass along, on my sl11a, with the same problem, a homelite rubber duckbill valve worked great, and was easy to install. found out my wards did also have auto oiling, it just did'nt say it anywhere on the saw, it was also an easy fix with a homelite duckbill valve
