440D with an enclosed cab, lights all around, and new rubber and chains went for $24k here about a year ago.

I had mine listed on the local craigslist for high 20’s and a broker called out of the blue one day saying he had a buyer. I thought he was full of you know what and why wouldn’t the “interested buyer” just buy direct? Well, turns out the brokers offer something we can’t, financing! I got MORE than my asking price. I sold that machine and received  $32,500 my share. My understanding was the buyer paid $36,000. Some funds went for broker fees and trucking. I was astounded when the wire transfer actually went into my account. It was an immaculate machine, I replaced most everything on it as I just did it as a hobby. Had 100% rubber and all. I paid $22,000 cash for it originally but sank another $6,000 in parts and hundreds of hours of my labor. I would’ve sold it for $26-28K locally, not a penny less. One of those in new condition is something no amount of money can buy anymore, they aren’t made in that power/weight/size ratio. It was a great little machine.
