Got to saw some burls
« on: June 20, 2016, 06:52:28 AM »
It's been awhile since I've had a chance to play with the mill any, but yesterday certainly made up for it.
A friend came out from Billings and brought a bunch of russian olive burls and I had some box elder burls to add to the fun.
The weather was great with a little breeze, so it turned out to be a great day.
This is the BIG box elder of mine and was just over 4' diameter and maxed out the mill after I split it. I'm glad I have a bale bed on my work truck.

Here's a few of the russian olive, that my friend brought to saw.

Here's a few more shots, just 'cause we all love pics.
BTW, I don't know if it's how pictures get loaded has changed or it's the new computer, but it's a bunch less aggravating for darned sure. ;D
