1999 Fabtek 133 Harvester
« on: May 25, 2017, 11:21:34 AM »
I'm putting my 133 Fabtek with four roller head on the market.  Wife says I'm done with it.  It has a 6068D naturally aspirated JD engine.  Runs good with a little smoke on start up.  Doesn't burn oil.  New injector pump and injectors not too many hours ago.    There's new hoses, old hoses etc.  Hoses are an on going event with one of these.  Head works good.  In average hardwood it'll put 5 cords an hour on the ground easy.  I've done more and less depending on conditions.  Undercarriage has lots of life left in it.  It has the Joral measuring computer.  The Iqan just does engine functions.  The readout for it has a bad button but with patience you can navigate to the needed screen.  AC doesn't work.  Heat does.  Extra bars and chains go with it as well as a service manual.    I see similar units priced from $50,000.00 all the way to $130,000.00.  I'm thinking some where in the middle of those as a selling price.  Around $85,000 ??? :)

The last two pics were taken in March of this year.  The first two are older.  I've had the machine since April of 2013.  This was taken just after it was delivered.

Updated pics, and price. 1999 Fabtek FT133 Harvester/Processor with four roller head. 6068 JD engine series F150 non turbo, non electronic. Joral measuring computer. New hydraulic pump. Never cut a tree since installed. Under carriage is good. Has some leaks. Extra chains and a couple bars. Complete set of manuals including service manual. I've retired and it needs a new home. $85,000.00 as a starting point.  Reasonable offers considered.

I've read, understand and agree to the terms and conditions of selling items on the Forestry Forum.  It's also listed on Craig's List.

Update-
Hydraulic pump has been set to specs.
ProHeat has a new fuel injector tip/nozzle and coolant circulator pump.
Hydraulic oil was filter carted but it should be changed again along the filters.  It has two new batteries in it as well.
I'm more than likely going to consign it with http://crosstrac.net/home-page/ in the near future.  They've done the work to it.  It's still available directly from me for a bit.

How tall is the cab?  I am wondering if I can haul it with my quad axle dump. My trailer height is 33".

I'll check later today to be sure but I think it needs to be hauled on a low boy.  It weighs around 48,000.

It's 11' to the top of the cab.  It'll take a fairly long trailer to get the boom stretched out long enough to get it low enough.  As it's sitting the boom is 12' 9" tall and the overall length is 23'.

This chapter is just about closed :) :) :)  Negotiations have been successful.  Unless something unforeseen comes up it's a done deal.  If a low boy can be scheduled for the coming week it'll be on it and my new to me toy will be delivered on the same truck.  Stay tuned ;) ;D :)
It was a combination of the machine sitting roadside with a sign on it and CL ads that finally got done.
