If you don't find one, call Page Belting (Page Belting Company | Welcome) in Boscawen, NH but be prepared for sticker shock.  I just bought a 6"x40', it was $285, with clipper lacing installed & I picked it up.  It's 4 ply woven belt, not leather but they have been doing it since 1868 and can do leather if that's what you want..

I kind of wonder that also .I had my 1954  John Deere 70 belted up to a big Red River special separator  with an 8 inch belt  and didn't have any problems .If they got too frisky forking in the bundles old John would bark but the belt never slipped .

I am having problem with slipping at the drive pulley.  I am running an 8" belt with a 160hp Deutz on a Belsaw with a 28 tooth 48" saw and I have to really feather the stick to keep blade rpm up.  I went from a 12 " pulley on carriage drive to an 18" to slow it down.  What works is corn syrup but I always have to keep adding more and I see that it is building up gunk on the belt.  Small logs are OK but I need to cut 12" lumber.  I am afraid of tightening the belt too much because I have heard that you can bend the arbor.  Someone on the forum stated that 8" belt would work but a 10" belt was much better.  Also thinking of installing an idler pulley to get more wrap around the driver.
