Husqvarna 345 Air Vent Fuel Leak
« on: May 10, 2018, 03:50:35 PM »
Hello all.  I replaced the fuel vent in my Husqvarna 345.  The new vent seemed really loose.  Was it a bad vent or is there a way to snug it up?
Thanks

I think my 345 only has one.  This one: husqvarna 537359501.

Hi!  The old vent is sitting tight? If yes = It's a bad vent or they sold you the wrong one. You can also try a fuel resistant sealant. Should work but I don't recommend it.

Guessing here....maybe the 2 piece vent is a larger diameter to fit snugly in hole. Maybe the hole size changed in newer versions of the tank/handle.
