Guess weight of monster oak log

 a customer delivered a oak log to me it' is 57" in diameter at big end 12' long the hollow is 7' in then solid I know the weight because they have the loaded weight and the empty weight but I want to see what everyone else thinks weight is beacause I was shocked!

I could do it the Price Is Right way and guess 7501# but I'm thinking more like 8,500#.

It's awfully hot here (90+) to be thinking of such a log.  

My WAG is 9,400#.

I would put that log somewhere between 8,500 - 9,500 lbs

Depending upon the moisture content and the species of oak:
Somewhere between 8,500# and 13,000#.

According to the "log weight" scale in the tool box, it's weight is: 13,396.32, but that's without figuring out the rotted part.

I would think the rotted part would have been around 300#, so 13,096.32 pounds!
