Norwood HD36 Sawmill
« on: July 17, 2016, 07:16:11 PM »
Norwood HD36 Sawmill with trailer package and many extras. 11,000
This mill only has 125 hours on it.
We have added roller blade guides that allow you to put down pressure on the blade, also a woodmizer log clamp and 4' extension. This mill saws great lumber. With all the extras we added and over 15 blades that come with this mill you are getting a great deal. This mill is worth over 13,500 with all the upgrades. It took over 21 hours to assemble but if you buy it, it will be ready to go to work as soon as you get it home.
Item include:
Trailer/Support Jack Package
Toe Boards
Quick-Click© Indexing Detent Setworks
Board Offloaders
Extra Log-Dog/Log-Rest Receivers
Rapid-Dogging and Rolling System
AutoMatic Dogging Assist
Log Rest Actuators
4' extension
extra bunk
It will cut a 36" diameter log
Cuts great and is ready to go to work now.
The reason I am selling it is because we got more work than we expected and I want an other mill that has hydraulics. This will saw 16' foot logs. The saw carriage pushes so easy that the wind will push it down the rails. asking 11,000  Even if you pay to ship it, you will be getting a good deal. plus you wont have to assemble it when it arrives. Norwood will charge you around 500 to ship one to you in 25 different boxes. When this shows up you can go to work.

I wonder if you know my cousin, the Norwood man, in Albion. :)

That's a nice looking mill, and my cousin swears by his.

His first name is Matthew, I'll PM you his last name, for privacy's sake. He's had his mill and used it steadily for quite some time, at least fifteen years, I think.

Good morning,  a few questions:  is this still for sale and what engine do you have on this mill?  Also, I am curious to why the roller guide upgrade as opposed to the ceramic guides.
