Circle Mill, complete setup for sale
« on: January 24, 2018, 02:32:08 PM »
See (Note from Admin:  All pictures must be in the Forestry Forum Gallery) for pictures.
Although pics are 11 years old, little has changed except for adding a
trough at the bottom of the sawdust drag. Included are all the workings
shown, along with a Jockey grinder and 2 spare saw blades, a 56" and a
60" Style 3. Also, a set of spare drive belts, filters, bearings, etc.
The forklift is NOT included. I have the original feedworks parts if
someone wants them. The original hood and fuel tank for the Case are
also available. Log turner (Budget hoist) is included. Skidway beams
are included if you want them. I'll even throw in the cant hooks if
you buy the package.

Although I power the hydraulic feedworks with an electric motor, the pump
could as well be driven with a seperate engine or adapted to the front of
the Case Diesel. Track is about 60' long, carriage stretches to 16'; we've
sawed 20' logs. Headblocks will recede to about 40", we've sawed logs
about that diameter. Largest log we ever sawed was 16', 36" diameter,
scaled and sawed about 1000 Bf. Shortest log can be about 3' long.

Engine runs good, has less than 1500 hours since major overhaul. Blade that
is on the mill is 55", style 'B' and runs good. The other 2 need hammering,
but are good otherwise.

Selling because we simply don't use it anymore. It sat for 3 years or so
until a few weeks ago, when we sawed a batch of logs for a friend,
maybe 1500 Bf. (I do start the engine periodically)

I'm asking $4000.00 for the whole thing. Will seperate if necessary,
with mill, engine, and accessories split up. This is a rare opportunity
to have your dream sawmill! Note that little things add up; the Jockey
Grinder sells for $685.00 today, and mine is in excellent shape.
Even saw wrenches are nearly $100.00 these days. I am willing to
negotiate with serious buyers, I'd like this stuff gone.

I have read, understand, and agree to the terms of posting an ad on
the Forestry Forum.
