Cedar slabs
« on: July 16, 2018, 11:24:30 AM »
I'm looking for some cedar slabs around 4' long to make some benches on the end of my sugar house porch. I live in central Massachusetts so somewhere somewhat close would be nice.

I wouldn't necessarily call them slabs, but I have 20 something White Cedar 2x6x8's!

Don't know if that'll help you or not, but you could biscuit them together if you wanted wider!

I sawed some live edge erc slabs last week that are just right for benches but I'm not exactly in your neighborhood.

Seems like somebody on here would have some that are a little closer .

Red or white cedar? I ask as I don't know if red grows your way or not.  I have plenty, but am even further from you than btulloh so that doesn't help.
