Stilh 046 basketcase for husqvarna 372 basketcase maybe
« on: September 19, 2018, 01:51:07 AM »
I've traded here and there and wound I with a stihl 046 that needs a bit here and there. I've put a new oiler and worm gear on it and checked the lines and stuff because I was told it wasn't getting oil to the bar. It needs basically everything from the worm out to the finished saw. Side plate, clutch, muffler. Maybe a couple small things.  I've always wanted a 372xp. I'd like to set.myself up into a trade with a saw at least in similar condition. I have so many dang irons in the fire right now completing the 046 is problematic. Any suggestions would be very helpful. I don't have anything against the 046 but I like the way a 372 feels in my hands better. I've ran both and prefer the 372.  Both are beastly saws and I like both for what they are. Thanks and have fun.
Life's short make fun of it!
