Brake Bands On My C 7 T Treefarmer
« on: September 22, 2018, 06:37:27 PM »
I seldom use my winch on my grapple skidder I can't read the name plate on the winch but it is alot bigger then the one on my Timberjack. I got the front brake band out but the back one is wider and I pulled the inch pin and rolled the brake band so I can get it out but my problem I can't seem to hook the rear of the band to work it out and it seems to be bound up. Anyone have any secrets on getting them out ? I want to clean the band and sand and clean the steel housing on the winch. The back brake seems to hold to tight and it is a total bear trying to get the winch line pulled out.
