What is the standard winch pto output rpm of say a franklin q80? 540?

Thinking about getting a newer tigercat for the spray tank that is currently on my franklin and building a dry spreader box it. If the winch PTO rpm is 540, then I can run a standalone PTO pump to run the box.

Not familiar with that machine but can you put a photo tach on your winch shaft? Iím guessing itís engine speed but like I said Iím not familiar with your machine

Think you might find Tigercat is a hydraulic machine so all spray pumps and spreaders are likely to be hydraulically driven.
S610E Spreader - Tigercat off road industrial products   (also in the 630 version)
only lists hydraulic winches for the Tigercat in this (Cat have pto winches).

Franklin dropped for TC S610

I think you may have misunderstood. My current franklin q80 spray skidder runs a hydraulic spray pump. The hydraulic demand of a dry spreader box is substantially more because of the spreader motors and chain motor. I do not believe the franklins hydraulics will carry it. Most pto powered spreaders have a pto shaft into a hydraulic pump and powers the standalone system of the spreader box. The plan is for the newer Tigercat to receive the spray tank for which it should have no problem with and the old franklin will get a new dry spreader box.

From the specs the Q80 had a John Deere or Cummins engine. JD lower rated speed than the Cummins.

Have you looked which fert spreader company could provide the optimum ' off the shelf'  spreader parts? or use litter/ manure spreader parts to get a heavy duty unit. e.g
Chandler Spreaders - Fertilizer Truck Spreaders
spreaders have to more complex most places now as you need the electronic data/ gps maps to prove to the authorities/ regulators -where you put the fertiliser and how much you put there, if/ when you get audited. & prove to the client that you did a good job etc.

I would think the PTO speed on the Franklin would be the same as turbine speed. So when holding the brake and transmission in gear the PTO would stop, the increase as the machine moves.
