SOLD 1980 Franklin 132 XL Forwarder
« on: October 24, 2018, 10:15:02 PM »
1980 model I've been told but it might be a 79 :)  It's been a farm machine the last couple years since I retired from timber harvesting.  Not much use other than breaking trails in the sugar bush and moving a little 100" wood around for the firewood machine.  It's surplus to continuing operations ;D :)   3-53 Detroit that's slobbery, smokey, and drippy but it starts and runs good.  Has a fairly new block heater that we installed.  Re-cored radiator and new water pump not too many hours ago.  Low hours on pump for steering and blade.  Pump for loader is strong.  Spin on hydraulic filters have been plumbed in to replace the in tank filters.  I've got a new spin on filter kit and filter for the engine around here somewhere too.  Continuous rotator with  bypass bucket.  Bucket was re-pinned and bushed not long ago.  Three good tires, one has a boot that was in it when I got the machine.  I've used it quite a lot and it hasn't gotten any worse :-\  It'll  need a clutch job sooner than later.  Center is loose but I've seen worse.  Swing cylinders will need to be resealed.  It's an old Detroit powered Franklin.  No more no less.  $14,000.00?  Discount for CASH ;D ;D  I've read understand and agree to the terms and conditions of selling items on the Forestry Forum.  I'll leave it here for a while before it goes on Craig's List.

Sold through Craig's List.  The machine is going back to its home turf.  The grandson of the previous owners best friend has bought it.  The low boy will be here this coming week to take it away.
