New chainsaw carrier
« on: December 24, 2018, 01:36:12 PM »

I made a saw carrier for my tractor with an old truck tool box.  I cut a 2" slit out the the bottom and set it on the box blade.  I used a piece of wafer board to slide under the brace to hold it firmly in place.  I can take it off in 10 seconds.  You can see the trees in the background laid down by Hurricane Michael.

I like it! I keep a 7ft box blade on my 2355JD most of the time and that would add a whole new area for tools.

My saw carrier... :D  I do have an orange saw carrier, but use the black and white one more often.

good saw carrier, just needs a FEL (Front End Loader)

here is mine

I built the box on two cedar 6x6 to give me room to use the forks on un-even ground
and the lid folds out into a table

notice there are 4 forks. this is also a tractor-pitchfork

DDW_OR,
That fold out bench looks like a great place for a sharpening vice...
