Some of the best Walnut so far on my mill UPDATED VIDEO
« on: February 02, 2019, 10:28:47 PM »
Today I sawed a walnut log that I forgot about even having. When I moved to my new farm late last year I had to move just over 100 logs to the new place, This walnut log was underneath a pile of ERC and at first looked like it had wasted away. I guesstimate the log to have been harvested about 5 years ago. Today I put it on the sawmill and the pictures show the results.  <br

Wow, those look amazing Nathan!  Sometimes its the logs we let sit and almost rot that come out the best.  Nice!!

Is the kiln up and running and are you getting any sales?

Funny, but I haven't checked into this forum for a while and when I opened this thread and saw the walnut slabs, I said to myself " those slabs look just like a few I just saw on one of my favorite YouTube videos (OTW)  LOL!  Beautiful slabs! Nice work as usual
Kioti CK30 TLB, lots of Stihl Chain saws, 1956 Chevy, and now a Oscar 18CE to make sawdust with
