Sounds like people had a good time. Put me on the list for next year may be a bit later in the season. I prefer mosquitos than flooding

Thank you for hosting the northern project 2019 .
It was soo nice to get away from the farm and meet so many amazing forestry forum members.
Also the New Hampshire state bird (the black fly )was still hibernating.i always thought that we lived in the glaciated north here in New York but spring is still has not found the granite state yet .
Thank you all
Zeke

Enjoyed a brief visit from Crusarious who stopped on his way home form Brunos.
Gave him an abbreviated tour of the Bear Swamp mill and forest land.
Hope I can fit it in next yr.

Thank you Jim for editing and posting the videos.

Congrats to all that attended and had any part of making this Project the success that it was.

Hopefully we can all meet at Jeff's place on August 3rd for the Pig Roast.  8)

Even though I was the guy with the sharpie and the roll of duck tape for name tags I forgot a few. And if I made a mistake in naming all in this video, I'm sorry.
Please correct me if I'm wrong and I'll do my best to fix it.

It was good to attend and meet folks from the forum.  Since driving through the rural New England States for the first time, I have a new perspective of that part of the country.  It was some of most beautiful hills and mountains and woods that God created and the nicest people.  Driving from Cooperstown to Springfield  and through Maine on two lane country roads I was impressed how much saw milling and firewood processing is done on rural farms.  Note to self:  stay away from I 95  LOL

Also, when driving along and you see a sawdust pile you know there is a mill there.  Otherwise, it is firewood processing.
