Boot cleats
« on: February 15, 2019, 04:02:18 PM »
After the recent slush/snow storm it got every mild, and then froze again.
This meant that any place where it was plowed out, could have a fine layer of ice.
Know that if I fall and hit my head, I'd have to call 911 as I'm on blood thinners, I put on my boot cleats that I got last winter.
I wore them all day yesterday as my yard is icy in spots around the mill. They work great for me:

I had to take them off before walking into the house to use the bathroom as they do have some very sharp points.

I just leave the ice cleats on a pair of slip-on boots ( Muck). It's worth the price of a pair of boots to avoid the hassle of getting ice-cleats on/off.

The ice has been terrible here for months.
