Wood Mizer MP260 ship date...
« on: March 12, 2019, 07:47:58 PM »
Hey, I was wondering if anyone has been having issues ordering and getting a Wood Mizer MP260?  We ordered ours on December 6th, was told probably February, then after a few times of calling, got a estimated ship date of June!  I understand that they under estimated the demand but are there others out there with the same results?

I was told maybe June but nothing firm.  Im sure they are doing the best they can, money wise it is in their best interest.  I hope for better though.

The want is strong with this device.

I don't even own a mill yet and I can see myself buying one of these almost immediately for making siding and flooring for our dream home build. Something about building a house with wood from the lot it comes off of just speaks to me.

Now just to convince the money manager it is a good deal.

Obviously I am a pretty big Wood-Mizer guy, but I have to say that I have been extremely happy with my Woodmaster 4 head WM4000.  Made right in Kansas City and it just keeps pumping the wood out. Moulded 2500 square feet of Colonial siding for a home built in 1750 yesterday with it.  Worth looking into for those wanting a moulder.
