I don't mill in the winter, for many reasons.  For one I don't like to fight the snow.   I went Outback to fire up the grill and cook a burger this Evening as the sun was out and the temp was reasonable burger cooking weather.

As I walked past the pole barn my eyes where drawn to the pile  :)

We have 3 days of warmth and rain starting tonight so maybe mother nature will take care of much of it.   But I believe it is suppose to go back to the 30's for a while.

This is the first year I actually have logs ready to go and a cut list this early.    Luckily its not a big list, just some Post, roof rafters, and such.

I had expected it to slid down this week but was surprised that it came down today.

P.S. The burger was fantastic, 6-7 oz Med rare with Swiss Cheese  8)    8)

Where is da caboose??

Its across from the mill. which makes it hard to just blow the snow away from the mill.

I'll have to take a pic from the driveway to include all the building I have nestled together.
