4 side planer and power unit
« on: August 11, 2019, 05:09:24 PM »
JA Faye and Egan 4 sided planer powered by a 371 detroit power unit.  This planer will do tongue and groove, v groove, and s4s.  I have owned it for 25 years and primarily used it when I built my house and planed all the wood I had sawn.  This is an older heavy duty machine that has babbit bearings and is run by a line shaft that also operates a blower for removing shavings.  The 371 cranks easily and runs strong.  I have not used it much in last 6-7 years and could use the space it is taking up in my barn.  If you have any questions please feel free to contact me. $7500.00

Wow, what a great machine.  An OSHA nightmare, but still cool.  You might want to say where it is located.  You could update your profile or make another post.
