LTAGA sharpener question
« on: December 02, 2019, 07:46:51 PM »
What am I doing wrong?
When I have it adjusted so the wheel comes down the face of the tooth, it hits on the index arm.

Turns out the grinding wheel was too small. Put on a new one and it's working okay.

When the index pin is pushing the tooth is it in the bottom of the gullet or pushing up the tooth some from the bottom of the gullet being rounded too much due to wear on the wheel. On my Wright the index pin relied on gravity to keep it down when pushing the tooth, I added a light spring to keep it down better.  Steve
