TFing hand Tools
« on: March 26, 2005, 04:07:14 PM »
I need to start acquiring the basic hand tools used for timber framing. I'm starting now so that when I need them hopefully within the next 8-12 weeks I'll have them.
Most of you are familiar with what is needed or you wouldn't have them. Jim posted a list on this site and if you are a member then you already have seen it I'm sure.
If you have duplicates collecting dust that are not collectibles themselves that are near & dear to your heart, and you'd like to see someone put them to use, someone who will certainly take good care of them, then I'd like to hear from you.
Any ideas on where else to look would be welcome. I'm a tfguild member, but if they have a section for classifieds i missed it. Will check again though.
I'm not avoiding new because of cost, I just prefer used hand tools over new in most cases.
Thank you. KJ.
P.S. Have most every power tool imaginable except mortice machine, but I need everything regarding hand tools.
The oil is all in Texas, but the dipsticks are in D.C.
