information on disposing electronic equip
« on: April 15, 2005, 11:08:21 AM »
I have accumulated various electronic equipment such as satellite dish receiver, in dash CD player, various old OEM radios and other non functioning items.  I hate to just throw them away because I know the internals are not all bad.  The local recycling center charges $5 per item to recycle because they classify the items as hazardous waste.
the OEM radios I may list on e-bay just to see what happens ('89 F-250, '92 Tempo, others )
Any ideas?

Hey OWW,

Try your local Vo-Tech school, or your high school. Sometimes they like to have stuff to tinker with, or on... plus you can deduct it on yur 2005 taxes  ;)
