I spent a couple weeks in New Zealand last month. The place is more impressive than I ever imagined. I don't even know where to begin to describe it. Since this is the Forestry Forum, I could start with the trees but even that catagory is gigantic. The trees are unbelievable. The sylvaculture is unbelievable. I decided to start with some Sequoia.

These redwoods and tree ferns growing together caught my fancy.

These trees were gigantic and only 100 years old.

They were awe inspiring.

The place gave me goosebumps. No lie.

Forgot to mention the ferns. Quite impressive.

Nice Pictures!

New Zealand is on my list of places to visit - we almost moved there once. They dodged the bullet and Costa Rica got us instead.

So, how did I end up here anyway?
