Yesterday, I cropped an image to send to a garden club member from Brookings, Oregon, and decided to put it to good use.

Many references to Mt. Fuji flowering cherry, say it gets 25 feet wide. "Right"  :D

Here...........is a Mt. Fuji...

My favorite tree to prune: ever >> one Mt. Fuji

Anyone else have a favorite to prune? (or is it a favorite to drop  ;D)

Nice cherry!!!  Definately a bigger spread than any Mt. Fuji I've seen on this side of the country.
My favorite pruning job was turning a huge wildly over grown Juniper into giant bonsai.  It swung the customers focus 180° and inspired an evolution of the entire landscape design.

The only ones I  prune are the hawthorns that poke me when I walk by them while I'm hunting.  :D  Some of them have pretty wide crowns for their diameter too.
