It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate:
I am the captain of my soul.

Well, not sure it's nice to cast nasturtiums at it. I'm sure it's trying to be a great tree species...   :-\

Well, Asy, is it or is it not your guess at mulberry?  Inquiring minds want to know.
The Ranger, home of Texas Forestry

Tom

I've been mulling it over and think it a good thing that you ask Asy again, Texas Ranger.

Texas Ranger

Too much mulled wine there, Tom, it is night across the sea, and Asy is busy looking at the inside of her eyelids.  I will be respectful and allow the fair lady to have her java before I ask her again.  Oh, say in a couple of hours.  Say, is it Saturday, Sunday, or Monday over there, I can never keep up.
The Ranger, home of Texas Forestry

Tom

Kiwi Charlie told me, one time, that it was tomorrow plus 4 hours where he was.  ....I think ???

Texas Ranger

11PM Monday, shoot, she should be up by now.

HEY, ASY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Did you say mulberry or knot?
The Ranger, home of Texas Forestry

asy

YES! OK...

I say Mulberry...

I couldn't find the leaf venation in any of my shrubs and tree keys. Never would have guessed mulberry, used to the sassafras like shapes.
