Marty,

If you run across any of the older large Stihl saws, please contact me as I collect them.

Thank you

Please tell me exactly what you want or need. I have a partner (Roger )who has had 35 years + working with and for Stihl as a Service consultant. He fixed what ever the dealer could not. He's pretty good with the Stihl line and the old stuff. I think he has a shed full of old odd stuff. He works for us, sounds funny when I mention that. He's a great asset to our business. He is picking up the Wood-Mizer parts and blades pretty quickly. Most times when you call he is the one you talk to.

We are looking at Skag zero turn mowers and others. You guys have any comments about the mower market?

Speaking as a Landscaper, when the economy slows down so do the Scags.
There's always a certain degree of demand for professional 'lawnsurfers' so service never really goes away.

That MS660 sounds like a deal if I hadn't just bought a new 395XP this week.  :-\

It seems Skag has lost their market share around here to Exmark in the Cincinnati area .I don't see too many new Skags out there.

We have tested Scag, Dixon, Yazoo Keys, Farris and Simplicity. We realy like the Farris. They have suspension and have a great ride. Very easy on the back and they seem to work well on all areas. We are located in a very rural area and I am not sure how much interest there will be. We have a few mowing services around.

We have had a Ferris for about 6 years and really think it is a well built machine.
The dealer I bought this one from said he stopped selling them because parts were slow coming from Ferris but who knows what really happened. ::)
Luckily haven't needed any service for a few years now.
