I could say it's 40. I guess 39 can be called 40.  ;D  I've been out today, and not much melting going on in the woods. Woods road is packed down snow and still hard. Driveway was too. But after a few days, things will start to happen. Raining out there now.
Sun might come out around 4.

Was 35 calm and pleasant this morning, now it's 19 windy and snowing. Calling for 6 to 12" tonight and temps continuing to drop into the single digits for the next few days.

It's minus numbers and teens here for awhile with snow on the ground.  56 degrees and rain now with the snow gone.  Temps to drop tomorrow with freezing rain, sleet, and snow 1 - 2 inches.  Temps in the teens next week.  At one point the weather guessers ouija board was speculating 4 to 20 inches of snow.

Got up to 62F today, withing the last half hour it has dropped to 40 and about 30 miles west it is down to about 30F so it'll be around that temp here within the next hour or sooner.

Rained here yesterday and all night, we do need it. Michelle checked the garden and high tunnel, a single layer greenhouse with no heat. She had made hoops inside and out over the rows with remay over then and sandbagged down. A good bit of greens made it, some violas were blooming inside. Amazing.

Seem good to open up the OWB and there is still plenty of wood in it. Those singles numbers day after day, chewed through some wood.

We have hit 52 here today and has rained pretty hard since noon. The snow depth is half what it was. 3 more days of this and it will be spring time.  ;D :D :D

We have 34 here now, been raining most of the day, about 1/2 hour ago, rain switched to snow!

Forecasters locally calling for 7-14 inches of snow this time!

We only got 6-8" of new snow but I pushed back drifts that were to the mirrors on the plow truck. Took the better part of the day to get everything cleaned up and the drifts pushed back all while the sun shined and the wind howled, now it's snowing hard again and still blowing.  Probably be lots of drifting again tomorrow.
