Mahoning OWB love it !!!!
« on: November 29, 2008, 06:44:42 PM »
Just got to say the Mahoning owb is working better than I thought it ever would , not burning much wood at all ,lasts 12- 15 hours easy between loadings , heating house and dhw .Will be heating shop soon .Haven't burnt any of my good wood yet , just gathering junky stuff in the woods . House is small and its not really cold out yet but so far I couldn't be happier !! 8)

I was really skeptical how all this would all turn out , it was alot of work for me because we had to jackhammer the ditch just to get down 30'' and I just wasn't sure how long it would burn and if there would be enough hot water !! I loaded it last night at 6:00 and here I am its 9:15 in the morning and the house is toasty and I didn't go out to load it yet !!! There will be wood still unburnt when I go out , put on more wood and good to 6:00 tonight or later .

I'm not trying to sell anyone on the Mahoning , just a report on how its going so far and how good its working , I'm impressed !!!!
