garden seeds

anyone on here use "straight", "pure", "heirloom", "base" or "root" seeds?
Not hybrids.
I would like to expand my inventory of generational plants.

I checked Vesey's and they have some certified organic, but not what your looking for. They just aren't genetically modified by man's hand. No heirloom or the like that I could see.
Move'n on.

depending on what you want, you may end up with hybridizations from your own garden due to cross pollination.

hybrids aren't so bad, they're like a mutt dog :)

but anyways, I've seen that a pepper plant can be pollinated from one over 900 feet away.  that means if you have two varieties close to each other, the seeds will likely by hybrid

Baker Creek seeds at Mansfield, Mo. is one of the biggest dealsers in heirloom seeds.  their website is www.rareseeds.com.  I was there last Friday and bought some scarlet runnerbean seed and some brandywine tomato seed.
