Local newspaper most years has a camera trained on a nesting goose.
These eggs should hatch very soon. When the wind is quiet they turn on the sound.

They have hatched! Checked cam about lunch time and saw 3 chicks, looks like rest are in progress. Thanks for the link sawdust.
Old doesn't bother me, its the ugly that's a real bummer.
