26' gooseneck log trailer. SOLD
« on: October 13, 2009, 10:54:53 PM »
Bed of trailer is 26' long plus gooseneck so overall length is over 30'. Three axels, low boy tires with good tread. Removable uprights, solid construction. Trailer only sits about 30" off ground so it has a low center of gravity.
Weak point of this trailer is that all three axels need brake work done. I have been told that parts are readily available. One spring is broken, I have the replacement part just havent put it on yet.
I have set the price for a quick sale at $1950. This is a very good price for this trailer, the steel is probably worth that.
Any questions you can call me at 269-436-0039 or PM me here. Reason for selling is that I have another trailer and since I have only one truck I dont use this anymore.

Mobile Demension sawmill, Bobcat 873 loader, 3 dry kilns and a long "to do" list.

I took a tape out today and measured a few things for a little more detail.

Trailer constructed out of 8" C channel.
68.5" frame width inside tires
27.5" from top of frame to ground
8-14.5 LT Tires
26' bed length
8' from gooseneck hitch to start of bed
Gooseneck hitch is adjustable up and down

Let me know if I need to add anymore info ;D

Hi, what is the GVW on the title?  Are the tires good enough for a 500 mile trip?
Thanks

Never titled it because I just used it on some local roads around here. You would have to get a home built title for it. I think the tires would make it, it was towed up here from Florida.

What kind of axles are they?  I guess what I really want to know, if they are mobile home axles or trailer axles, and there is a difference.  Are the tires fairly good, and (final question) would it require a bunch of work to get it home, or could it be a hook and go?
