Does anyone use a good shipping company for boards that is reasonable?

Try the ideas on this thread.  I went with Freightquote.com, and was very satisfied with the service.

It is kinda hard to find an issue that hasn't come up here before, Rich. ;)  If nobody asked anything that hasn't been asked before, we wouldn't have much to talk about. :D

Welcome to the Forestry Forum.  What about those 15,000 trees that are keeping you busy?  Or has that already been discussed? ;D ;)

Reberly, when you get Freightquote on the line 800 323 5441 go to ext 1855 and talk to Mitch.  He has helped us for several years.

Make your pallet a little longer and an inch or so wider than your lumber stack.  Use at least 3 steel straps for 8', 4 if longer.  We put cardboard at the corners to help protect the lumber.
I am in the pink when sawing cedar.
