I have an indentation that occurred during sawing on my oak veneered plywood. I don't think that I want to try to sanding it out, its about .005 to .010 deep and it runs the width of the board.

If it was on solid wood, I would steam it out. Any suggestion on this veneer?

I'd try water first then steam, depends on the glue used for the laminations----I think.
A very wise man once told me . Grand children are great, we should have had them first

I'd put a moist towel on it and iron it out.  If the glue let go, I'd inject some back under the veneer with a needle.
