What is the correct way to remove the clutch so that i can change the drive sprocket on my 455 rancher? It has a spur type sprocket welded to the drum. THe manual gives no information on how to correctly change the sprocket. Any info appreciated.

THanks!

You really need a clutch removal tool.  However, you can take a punch and hammer to take it off.  Not recommended but can be done.  Downside of punch is it's possible to break the end of the crank if done wrong. Baileys has them.  Check Feebay. To answer your question: 1-Remove spark plug fill cyl. with clean rope (keeps it from turning when you remove clutch)2- insert clutch tool and remove.  All clutches are left hand thread so turn clockwise to remove.  I use clutch tool and an impact skipping step one.
