Red squirrels
« on: June 30, 2012, 10:22:00 AM »
At 1:00 p.m. yesterday the temp was right on 103 in the shade yet, the red squirrels were everywhere....on the roof, in the trees, and on the ground!

What makes those critters come out and flaunt the hot temps so much?

No idea!

They're smart critters though, they have learned to stay away from our house and garage!  ;D

That's what I hear from the squirrel hunters.  The grey squirrels are out cutting at dawn, and the red squirrels are out cutting at noon.
