As an account manager with Arboristry®  Associates, Inc. you will train directly under a 35 year tree care sales veteran and certified arborist in a comfortable and friendly team atmosphere. Job Description

The Account Manager position involves three areas of focus to:

1) Provide primary customer relation communications – knowledgeable diagnosis, expert information, suggestions, recommendations and estimates for sales so that customers are informed of their options, and for selling the Company services that best fit the needs of customers and their landscapes to ensure customer satisfaction and retention;

2) Work closely with production and administrative staff to ensure every customer receives the best possible service throughout the sales and service process and to ensure work is completed to customer satisfaction, and

3) Identify and implement sales and marketing strategies to grow the company by building current client potential, generating leads and renewing inactive client relationships to create profitable sales of company services.

Job Requirements

To qualify for this position you need to have:
•   Experience in the green industry (a minimum of 1 year in tree care is highly desirable).
•   AS degree or higher in landscape/forestry related field or equivalent experience.
•   ISA Certified Arborist (or able to obtain within 6 months).
•   Pesticide Applicator Certificate (or able to obtain within 6 months).
•   Valid driver’s license and qualified motor vehicle driving record.
•   Excellent communication skills – verbal, written, customer service, conflict resolution.
•   Time management, follow through, attention to detail, tenacity, organization and planning skills.
•   Excellent computer skills – Word, Outlook, Excel, printing, fax, etc.
•   Ability to estimate work hours and requirements.
•   Ability to present and sell value proposition.
•   Successful track record of fulfilling commitments and meeting goals in sales or service is highly desirable.
