What is this crazy thing?
« on: May 22, 2013, 07:42:04 PM »
Tammy called me outside to show me this "thing" she spotted on a rock in the flower garden. We have no idea what it is. Looks a bit parasitic. Any ideas?

cinnabar; I remember making "horse hair snakes" when we were kids.

We would just take a freshly pulled hair and place it in water and in a little while we could see it swimming around!

That is a treat to see/find.  I have seen a few, but they are rare, or maybe so small that they go unnoticed.
