We cut this old spalted oak a while ago and Jack had it drying in his shop all this time. We ran a few 1" pieces through the planer and cut the edges flat for book matching a few weeks ago. Jacks got it together with some biscuits and then sanded it flat. He has 2 legs turned out of the pieces of drop we had from the log, heres a few pics.

Looking good.   Is Jack helping with the smoothness or the finish? ;D

I know, pretty funny... But those are Jacks two hands in the picture, I was using mine to operate the phone/camera with the chipped lens.

I think we finished this spalted water oak table tonight, few little edges and stuff that needed addressing. Got Jack in a few pics as well. Yes that is the red oak we sawed last night for jacks bench top and a few other pieces.

We are selling it. Most of what we sawed from these logs was in 2", so there are more tables in the future. All the 2.5x2.5x8' under it are going to be used for the wood working bench sitting on top of the 6x6 pine legs its all sitting on. There also 2 2x12 and 2 2x16 red oaks under there too.

That is really great looking.  Nice color on finish.  The spalted wood really makes a great look.

That is some great work.

I think you should be able to get a lot of interested buyers for that table.
Thank the Lord for second chances

I'm not sure where to advertise it, we are working a few other projects so we have a few things to bring sell.
