Andre

When I first build the mill hitting the backstops on my mill has not been a problem.
I had made them out of wood so they just get shorter.

When I first made them it was just a quick way of getting something there that would work, to adjust them I had to reach over the log to push them down or pull them up.  That was a pain.
Now that I am getting the mill back into operation that was one of the things I wanted to change.
Had Friday off and did some work on a method of adjusting them from the front of the mill.

I tend to do the prototyping out of wood before committing to steel.
It is a little crude and kind of in the way if a log drops on it but it sure speeds up squaring up a log.
See ya
